Game Day Hours
Football: 3 hours prior to kick off
Basketball: 90 minutes prior to tip off
Women's Basketball: 1 hour prior to tip off
Olympic Sports: 1 hour prior to start

Ordering Tickets:

1. Online: Purchase tickets online at www.NUSports.com
2. Walk-up: Purchase tickets at the Northwestern Athletics Ticket Office at Ryan Field during regular office hours. Regular office hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
3. Telephone: Purchase tickets by telephone through the Northwestern Athletics Ticket Office with American Express, Discover, MasterCard or Visa. Credit cards are charged immediately. Tickets cannot be held without payment.
NOTE: Tickets are typically mailed two-three weeks prior to any home event unless a customer selects the will call delivery method. All tickets are held at will call if an order is placed less than 10 day prior to an event. Please provide a valid photo ID when collecting tickets at will call.

Print At Home Tickets: Avoid Will Call lines by choosing the Print at Home option when ordering tickets. Print-At-Home is an electronic delivery method by which your tickets or items are emailed directly to you immediately after your purchase. Click the following link for Print at Home Instructions

Will Call:
Will Call is defined as tickets left by the Athletic Department, tickets purchased via the mail or phone orders that were not mailed. The Athletic Ticket Office will not accept third party Will Call. Will Call is generally available during regular business hours at the Ryan Field Main Ticket Office at 1501 Central Street. Guests must present a photo ID to pick up tickets. Tickets must be under the name of the person who will pick them up. If there is a need to change the Will Call name, the guest must contact Will Call prior to game day via fax or email (847.491.7886 or cat-tix@northwestern.edu).

Season tickets and individual game tickets for home football games are available for purchase online at NUsports.com, by telephone at 888-GO-PURPLE (467-8775) or in person at the Ryan Field Ticket Office.

Some of the benefits of being a season ticket holder include:

  • Eligible to purchase tickets to away games
  • Eligible to purchase individual game tickets before they go on sale to the general public
  • Eligible to purchase a season-long parking pass
  • Invitations to VIP events

Ticket Information (Baseball, Field Hockey, Lacrosse, Wrestling, Men's and Women's Soccer, Softball, Volleyball))
Tickets are general admission and are $7 for adults and $5 for senior 65 & older, faculty/staff, children 17 and under or students from other Universities with a valid student ID. Northwestern students will be admitted free with a valid WILDCARD ID. The Box Office at the respective venues will open approximately one (1) hour prior to the game.

Address Changes

If there is a change of address, it is the owner's responsibility to notify, in writing, the Northwestern Athletics Ticket Office. Address changes can be made via fax, email or by mailing the new address. If possible, please include: Customer Number, previous mailing address and your updated address. Payment for Tickets

The Northwestern Athletics Ticket Office accepts payment through cash, check, money order and credit card (American Express, Discover, MasterCard and VISA only). Full payment must be received at the time of the order. Any check returned for insufficient funds places the ticket holder in jeopardy of losing their seats. In order to provide the best service possible to all of our customers, deadline dates listed on applications are absolute and final. Customers who miss the deadline dates are subject to loss of seating assignments and tickets. All returned checks are subject to a $30 fee and your account will be reviewed for a possible loss of an active status for purchasing future tickets.

Mailing of Tickets

All tickets ordered, unless otherwise requested, are mailed first class. Season tickets are sentapproximately 3 weeks prior to the first home game. All orders that are placed ten (10) days or less prior to the game will be held at will call and can be picked up with a photo ID at the Northwestern Athletics Ticket Office, located near Gate K at the South end of Ryan Field, starting three hours before game time (for football). Men's Basketball tickets may be picked up at the Welsh-Ryan Arena Box Office starting 90 minutes prior to tip-off. Plan arriving early to avoid delays. Will call remains open throughout football games.

Duplicate Tickets

The Northwestern Athletics Ticket Office will accept duplicate requests solely from ticket holders of record. There are no exceptions to this policy and all requests are granted at the discretion of the Northwestern Athletics Ticket Office. A $10 per ticket duplicate reprinting fee must be paid at the time of the duplicates request. Duplicate tickets are available to pick up at will call on the day of the game only. Return and Refund Policy

All sales are final upon completion of transaction. No Refunds/Exchanges.

*NU Athletics reserves the right to enforce reserved seating if crowd control or safety issues dictate the necessity. The University reserves the right to relocate ticket holder(s) to an alternate seat location(s) at its discretion based upon conduct, apparel or other reasons.

Football Premium Seating Information

Stadium Club
The Stadium Club is the premier area in which to entertain clients, business associates and friends. The club, which is located on the first level of the Leonard B. Thomas Press Box, features elevator service, catered meals, snacks and beverage service, private restrooms, coatroom, television monitors, piped-in crowd noise, reserved parking and more.

Wildcat Den
The Wildcat Den, located under the press box, offers the opportunity for fans to be outside for the games but protected from the elements. Specific amenities include comfortable theater- style seats, at-seat concession service, radiant heat, windscreen and more.

Box Seats
Box seats are located on the east and west sides of Ryan Field between rows 18-23. Box seats feature chair-back seating close to the action and are segmented into groups of four or eight. A $750 per seat contribution is required for each Box Seat ticket in addition to the cost of the season ticket. This location is only available on a season ticket basis and sold in multiples of two seats.

Student Ticket Information

Undergraduate Student Athletic Ticket Policies

Full-Time Undergraduate Students who have paid their tuition have an opportunity to attend all home Northwestern regular-season athletic contests with presentation of their valid Northwestern WildCARD ID. Students must present a valid WildCARD for admittance -- SORRY NO EXCEPTIONS. All seating is general admission*; there are a limited number of student seats. If general public seating for football and men's basketball is sold out and student tickets remain, tickets will be released for public sale beginning 15 minutes before kickoff for football and 15 minutes before tip-off for men's basketball. Students will continue to be admitted on an availability basis until seating is exhausted.

Football
Full-Time Undergraduate Students must present their WildCARD at Gate G only for admission. The gate will open 90 minutes before kickoff. WildCARD admission is valid only for the student section (Sections 111 - 113). Seating is general admission within the student section. The student section is limited to full-time undergraduate students only. First-come, first-served, while seating lasts. Day of game admission only.

Men's Basketball
Students must present their WildCARD for admission at the new Welsh-Ryan Arena. Students should enter through the main lobby at the Event Level, then proceed upstairs to the Main Level and down into the seating bowl. Full-time Undergraduate Students will be seated in sections 111, 112 and 113 on the east side of the new Welsh-Ryan Arena, and in sections 103-104 on the west side. Seating is general admission within the student section and is first-come, first-served, while seating lasts. Day of game admission only.

All other regular-season Wildcat home athletic events
All other regular-season Northwestern intercollegiate athletic events remain free of charge to Northwestern students with a valid WildCARD.

Graduate Students, Part-time Students and Student Spouse Tickets

*Graduate and Part-time Students must be registered for class in order to receive the Discounted Rate. Call 888-GO-PURPLE or email cat-tix@northwestern.edu for more information
*Medical Residents do not qualify for the Graduate and Part-time Student Rate.

Football/Men's Basketball

All graduate (full and part-time), part-time students and spouses of students (graduate and undergraduate) may purchase season tickets for a specially priced rate! Tickets may be purchased on a season basis. Discounted tickets are not available for single games. Call 888-GO-PURPLE (467-8775) to purchase season tickets or for more information.

Faculty/Staff Tickets

Northwestern Faculty and Staff are eligible to purchase up to two season tickets in any section for football and men's basketball (subject to availability) at a 20 percent discount (Note: Single-game discounts are not available and Faculty/Staff season tickets are not able to be resold). Faculty and Staff who purchase season tickets receive the normal season-ticket holder benefits. Group Ticket Information

Group outings are a great way to get co-workers, family or friends together for a fun-filled day of Wildcat Athletics! Group seating/rates* are available for home games in baseball, men's basketball, women's basketball, football, lacrosse volleyball, and wrestling.
